LOON LAKE TUNNEL

The Loon Lake Tunnel is a large tunnel leading to the Buck Island Reservoir as part of the local hydroelectric project.  While we discourage entering the submerged tunnel, diving at its terminus is a great experience.  Depths range from 10-50 ft and there are numerous trees, rock outcroppings, and other interesting features besides the large tunnel opening. 

The Loon Lake Tunnel is a boat dive only.
