extreme Scuba Camp!

Series 1: Ages 9-14

Become a Certified Skin Diver, play underwater hockey, learn how to breathe underwater, build confidence and self esteem, and much, much more during the exciting eXtreme Scuba Camp!  During this multi-day program we are going to introduce you to the sport of diving and the undersea world.  Your child will be learning from the world's largest and highest rated training agency, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).  Your friendly, fun, and experienced dive instructions create a safe environment to learn the basics of skin and scuba diving.  All necessary equipment will be provided.  Please supply your child with typical pool accessories (swimsuit, towel, sun screen, etc...).  Give them something to be proud of: sign up with your local community district today!

Series 2: Ages 10-15

This is the second part of our eXtreme Scuba Camp where you'll further your scuba experience with more fun activities and challenges and a chance to work on your Junior Open Water Certification.  We build a wreck underwater, do an awesome night dive, participate in the Scuba Olympics, learn how to raise treasure from the sea floor, and more!  Give them something to be proud of: sign up with your local community district today!

 

 

Teen Scuba Adventures: Ages 13-18
Get off the couch and do something cool!  Sign up for our Teen Scuba Adventures and make diving part of your life!   Diving is about as non-boring as you can get!  You will be joining the Dive Ventures crew as we explore the waters of Monterey, Tahoe, American River, Folsom Lake, rarely dived Sierra lakes, and the North Coast. 

You will be diving from our 20' RIB Zodiac.  Our boat is set up for super easy diving! 

As you dive, you will be working on your PADI Mast Scuba Diver certification!

This includes:

  • Advanced certification
  • Rescue and CPR training
  • Search and Recovery
  • Altitude training
  • Oxygen provider training
  • Boat operations
  • Wreck diving
  • Photography

By achieving the Master Scuba Diver rating, you position yourself to become an esteemed PADI Divemaster once you turn 18!  As a Divemaster, you've taken the first step to becoming a professional and a chance to actually get paid for something you love doing!  How cool is that? 

Prerequisites: Open Water Certification (Not certified?  No problem.  We have Open Water classes starting weekly!)

Price:  Easy.  Pay as you go.  $50 for each 2 tank boat dive (or equivalent).
